Seems like the MC is partially possessed by the entity that want to use his body as a puppet, when he asked the entity for power in the last episode. The MC voice seems different, he is also more arrogant than before, and he is using new skills not used before.

In the last episode, he asked cooperation with the entity, and also asked for a deal. He said,
"I let go some of my thoughts... Let you control it, and you give away some of your strength for me to control".

So, like in the beginning, the MC most likely will be controlled more often by the entity inside his soul in exchange for more power, and also like before, the risk to lose control.

Also, Nice surprise at the end, when the bad guy throw the girl at the MC attack. I knew he was a fearful guy, but doing that in a competition is shameful for him and his sect.
